Assistant Office Manager
Charlee is our assistant office manager.
Charlee arrived during the summer of 2010, a kitten with full blown upper respiratory disease, which had ruined her left eye and severely reduced vision in her right. She badly needed treatment, and then a home. We were glad to offer both – she became a “clinic cat”.
Once recovered from her surgeries and illness, she quickly made our clinic her home. She routinely greeted – or ignored – visitors, both 2 and 4-legged. Her duties included retrieving faxes, pooping in the plant in the reception area, climbing cages, and falling into the aquarium. She helped me write up charts, and often observed surgery.
Her vision, or lack of it, never slowed her in any way. She had a great spirit, and a very full, active, and happy life. But too short. She developed lymphoma over the summer, and died in early Oct. We loved her and miss her. Thank you Charlee. We’ll see you again….
